THE RETIRED WOMEN TEACHERS OF ONTARIO’S DONATION AIDS IN PURCHASING A STRYKER TRANSPORT CHAIR FOR BROCKVILLE GENERAL HOSPITAL
October 25, 2022: Members of the Retired Women Teachers of Ontario (Brockville Branch) were on hand this week at Brockville General Hospital to admire the newly purchased Stryker Transport Chair that was made possible from their generous donation in the amount of $2,700.
The Stryker Transport Chair is designed to help create a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients who come to Brockville General Hospital, and it is the Cadillac of transport chairs for those who use them.
The Brockville and District Hospital Foundation is grateful for the Retired Women Teachers of Ontario’s support in assisting the Foundation in its efforts in enhancing medical care at Brockville General Hospital.

We were able to meet twice in person for lunch where we shared laughter and friendship.
Our Barbara Bain award was shared with our 10 new members!
We honoured 5 members who passed away during the pandemic- Beverley Clarke, Judie Wolfenden, Lillian Maud, Marion Duncan, and Rachel Kinch.
Kate McLean and Karen Kerr-Kennedy attended the London Convention and enjoyed the wonderful gathering and lots of laughter!
