40th Anniversary
Flesherton Branch held a major celebration this year: at our April meeting we celebrated our 40th Anniversary.
Our Provincial President, Lesley Uttley was at Steven’s restaurant in Markdale to congratulate us.
Also present was an original member form 1973, Susan Mackinnon. Susie also celebrated her 96th birthday in June.
Our guest speaker at our May meeting was a new member of our branch, Marion Basset. Marion is a professor emeritus in electrical engineering at University of Toronto. Her story as one of the few women in this profession in the 1940’s was very interesting. She spent a number of years in England working of street lighting.
We hope you will join us as we usher in our 41st year as proud members of the RWTO/OERO.
