Muskoka Branch News

It is with sadness that I let you know that the Muskoka Branch of RWTO has disbanded.

This decision was not easy to make. Our numbers were becoming smaller and we were not attracting any new members. Many of the Muskoka Ladies have been warmly welcomed at the Orillia Branch.

A huge thank you to those who helped us through the process of disbanding.

Also thank you to the Muskoka Ladies who supported me throughout this sad process.

RWTO is a great organization and I have nothing but respect for all those who belong. You are doing amazing work and I wish you continued success.

We have 31 members this year.
We started the year off by going to Family Place Restaurant for lunch.
15 Ladies were able to attend. It was great to see everyone.
In October we will be having a pot-luck lunch at Ullswater Hall.
Peggy Stock and a few members from East Parry Sound are going to join us.

We will have our Annual Meeting in April.

RWTO Song – Muskoka Verses

Muskoka is our district, it is one of fifty two.
And we held convention here in ’89.
We wore Muskoka tartan with its lovely green and blue
And everybody thought that we were fine.

Though our branch has dwindled down, till it numbers 33,
We still find such lovely friends within our ranks.
Sleeping Children ‘Round the World is our favourite charity,
With carnations – we remember – and say, “Thanks”.
