Marion Mooradian (May 16, 1930 – March 12, 2023)
One of our ‘Forever Young’ members, Marion followed her passion for education and teaching. She dedicated her career as an educator to teaching Grade 1 and Special Education for the DSBN. A highlight of Marion’s career was when she was able to combine her passion for teaching and travel through a teaching exchange in Scotland in the early 1960’s. Marion maintained friendships from that teaching exchange over the decades. Marion was active in the Ontario Women’s Teaching Federation, serving as President at one point. The St. Catharines branch of the RWTO honoured Marion as a ‘Forever Young’ member in 2020. Marion believed strongly in community and serving others. Survived by her twin sister, Irene MacGregor and younger brother Robert (Bob) Armstrong. Finally at peace.
