Tour 1: BELL HOMESTEAD: National Historic Site
On the banks of the Grand is the home of Alexander Graham Bell, revamped for the 150th anniversary in 2024. Tour the furnished home of the Bell family, see the first Telephone Office and interactive exhibits. Make a call on the 1930 phones! Includes a movie and gift shop. **Lunch first
at the Sherwood Restaurant.

Tour 2: BRANTFORD CITY TOUR: Travel Through History.
Lunch at the Sherwood Restaurant. Tour will include many historic places, including the Woodland Cultural Centre and the Mohawk Chapel. We see many highlights of “The Telephone City”, home of A. G.Bell, Wayne Gretzky, Pauline Johnson,
James Hillier, Lawren Harris and Phil Hartman to name a few.

Designated Canadian Heritage River Learn about the historic Grand River, past and present, from the Captain during a leisurely 3 hour cruise. Enjoy a full-course luncheon.

Event 6: CREATING A DREAM CATCHER ~ Diane Ford
Be guided through the creation of your own dreamcatcher while hearing about indigenous folklore and beliefs from Diane. She has run lessons and
workshops in indigenous communities throughout Canada. All materials supplied.

Event 7: ANCESTRAL MEDICINE WOMAN ~ Make and Take
Gail Whitlow, renowned Medicine Woman owns Ancestral Voices Healing Centre on Six Nations of the Grand River. Gail will lecture about many aboriginal
and historical ways to support women’s health. She has over 200 ancient botanical medicines. You will make and take home some Rosehip Tea and Hawthorn Tea, with many health benefits. Botanicals can be ordered.

Event 8: THE POWER OF HEALING WATERS and AQUAFIT
Instructor Wendy Fowler will be at the Hampton Inn Pool, speaking for 30 minutes about the use of water to assist healing muscles with heat, stretches and
exercise. A 30 min aquafit lesson for seniors follows. Bring suit and towel.
