Scarborough Branch

Welcome to the Scarborough Branch of RWTO/OERO

We are a large group of 200 retired educators from all school boards including Elementary, Secondary, Catholic and French. We welcome retired women Educational Assistants, Early Childhood Educators and Child & Youth Counsellors who were employed by Boards of Education, Private Schools, Colleges and Universities. As of 2024, we will also include retired women Speech & Language Pathologists, Educational Audiologists, Social Workers, Psychologists and Office Staff.

We regularly meet for lunch on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at the QSSIS Banquet Hall 3474 Kingston Road in Scarborough, where we enjoy catching up with former colleagues, special events, speakers, organized trips, an Arts & Craft Sale and Fashion Show.
We support a numerous charities in the Scarborough with financial support, Christmas packages for children in need as well as  sports equipment, school supplies, baby needs and toiletries to a women’s shelter each month. We issue a monthly newsletter to keep our members informed of news and sharing celebrations, and special events, all in keeping with our motto of  “Caring and Sharing”.

The annual membership fee is $50.00
