The L-M April luncheon at RiverBend Golf Community club house is on Thursday, April 23rd. Members and Guests should plan to arrive between 11:15 and 11:45 am for the start at noon.
The program this month is Jen Pastorius and Karen Bailey of Clayworx: Ceramic Arts Learning Centre. Whether you contemplate starting a new hobby, or just enjoy hearing about others’ interests, this will be a most interesting talk.
Our Outreach this month is the Education Fund & Kiwanis Award recipients. Also, if you are able, bring some financial support for the purchase of items for the previously announced RWTO 70th Anniversary year, “70 Sisters” project that our Branch has undertaken to provide some personal and pampering items to 70 mothers who face economic struggles in their daily lives. Your contribution will be very much appreciated.
Payment of $35.00 for the luncheon is due to our treasurer Lynda Faulkner, on or before Thursday 9th. Since payment by cheque won’t reach Lynda in time this month, but if you wish to attend, call Lynda Faulkner at 519-474-0620 and let her know you will give her cash or a cheque at the lunch, and she will register your attendance. If you wish to pay by e-transfer, be aware that the Branch is charged for each e-transfer and to avoid this charge, also call Lynda and let her know you will pay cash upon arrival on the 23rd.
If you have already sent in a cheque, be aware that it will not be cashed until the day after the luncheon, this is also to avoid a deposit individual deposit charge.
