Location: Breithaupt Park picnic shelter; enter Breithaupt Centre’s parking lot off Margaret Ave, directly across from Giant Tiger; lots of parking, about a one minute walk to the picnic shelter. Park as far left of the main doors as possible. Once parked, walk past the horse shoe pitch to the picnic shelter.
Presentation: Backyard Birding with David Gascoigne
Cost: None except for those going for lunch at Kypreos, individual orders no set meal or price
N.B. bring a lawn chair and water bottle; picnic tables available but we may sit in the shade of the lovely big trees
Bonus: For those interested, we will have a short 15-20 minute hike through Breithaupt Bush before David’s presentation, led by Anne C.; the path is mostly well-groomed, fairly easy and almost flat! Arrive at the picnic shelter for a 9:30 start. Last year our walk was rained out! Fingers crossed for this year!
Double Bonus: Andrea is happy to have us meet at Kypreos Restaurant for a late breakfast/early lunch.
