Our third luncheon in this (school) year is a week earlier than usual in November – on Thursday November 20th and is held at RiverBend Golf Community clubhouse. Since we are approaching the holiday season, lunch will be our special festive lunch of three courses, (costing $5.00 more this month) and we will be entertained by our very own choir (who will also be singing next June at the Jubilee provincial convention held in London in 2026). This year’s Shining Star Award will be given to one of our members who has made an outstanding contribution to our branch and community.
Our Outreach donations are to go to My Sisters’ Place this month (personal items for women or cash will be collected).
Lunches for members or guests are to be paid for ($40.00 each) two weeks in advance, on or before November 6th, by either cash paid in person, or cheque payable to RWTO London-Middlesex and mailed – received by the due date – to our treasurer Lynda Faulkner at 49 Sir Robert Place, Arva ON N0M 1C0 or paid by e-transfer to RWTO.1treasurer@gmail.com.
If you normally pay by e-transfer but want to help avoid our Branch paying bank fees for e-transfers, please call treasurer Lynda Faulkner, prior to November 6th, to inform her that you will attend the November 20th luncheon and will pay for the lunch ($40.00 cash per person) upon arrival, call Lynda at 519-474-0620.
