In recognition of International Women’s Day on March 8th, Plan A Sudbury will once again be accepting donations of purses filled with hygiene/sanitary products, snacks and warm weather accessories. If you are wishing to participate in supporting the Sudbury Women’s Centre and women in need in our community, please drop off your bag filled with new products to Plan A Sudbury, 302 Notre Dame Ave. (RED DOOR), by Friday, March 3rd, 2023. We’re open Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
Contents of your purse can include: A written note of encouragement, travel size shampoo, conditioner, feminine hygiene products (pads, tampons), gum, gift cards, toothbrush/toothpaste, hand cream, mittens/scarf, deodorant, hair accessories, bar of soap/body wash, socks, hair brush, bandaids, nail file, non-perishable food items (granola bars, trail mix), etcetera. Please, no razors, hand sanitizer or mouthwash that contains alcohol.
Don’t have a purse but still wish to participate? Drop off any new hygiene/sanitary products or snacks and we’ll be sure to donate them to the Centre!
