Our first luncheon of this 2025-26 year will be on Thursday, September 25th at RiverBend Golf Community clubhouse. Attendees are invited to arrive around 11:15 – 11:30 am in order to have time to chat and socialize with those they may not have seen over the summer break, before lunch begins at noon.
Our speaker is Patsy Day, Haudenosaunee, her topic is “Lifting Up Indigenous Women” and the outreach is the “Kaswentha Two Row Now” group – an indigenous organization that offers educational talks and workshops to encourage women and girls to take a leadership role in exploring their culture. For those wishing to contribute, a financial donation may be made with cash or cheque, payable to Kaswentha Two Row Now group.
The cost of the lunch is $35.00 per person, and payment must be received on or before September 11th. Payment may be made by e-transfer to RWTO.1treasurer@gmail.com or by cheque payable to the treasurer Lynda Faulkner at 49 Sir Robert Place, Arva N0M 1C0.
If payment has already been made, but circumstances necessitate a cancellation, a refund will be made if the request is made on or before September 11th.
