On November 27, the Owen Sound and Area retired women teachers were treated to a wonderful Christmas turkey dinner with all the trimmings. The ladies of the Georgian Shores Church once again served a festive and delicious Christmas lunch. After lunch, one of our very talented members, Laurie James lead us in Christmas Carols and other seasonal songs using bells. The bells were colour coded to the notes of the songs which were projected onto a screen. Different members selected different coloured bells to ring out the songs while everyone sang. It was great fun for all.
Our branch wishes all the retired teachers of Ontario and their families a wonderful Christmas and a happy, healthy new year for 2026!
