April Meeting and Luncheon

Almost 120 members of the St. Catharines Branch RWTO/OERO got together on a wet morning at Amici’s to reconnect with friends, celebrate members and sign up for interest groups. Our Provincial President, Sandra Salerno, welcomed everyone.
This year’s Cora Bailey Award was presented to Betty Axon, a member who exemplifies the spirit of “Caring, Sharing and Having Fun” in all that she does. Reports were given from our Insurance convenor, Membership convenor, Interest Group convenor and Branch President.
Our luncheon speaker featured a return engagement by Fraud Detective Constable Jeffrey May and his partner Ryan. They presented valuable information about current varieties of cyber fraud and how best to protect ourselves and our families..
Members are reminded that our next luncheon, at the Four Points Sheraton, is in May and will feature the Annual General Meeting with author Sharon French as our speaker. See you there!
