On November 30th, 34 members and friends joined us for our annual Christmas luncheon at the Northbury Hotel in Sudbury, on Brady Street. After the welcoming three C’s , coffee , conversation and cookies ,🍪 a few Christmas theme games were played. The 90’s Club congratulated two new members. Marjorie Steinke and Constance Barbeau received a bouquet of flowers and well wishes on their upcoming birthdays 🎉 from all of us.
Our multi talented, musical 🎶 guest, Carmen Shepherd entertained us with skits, stories, and a sing along with audience participation. As fate would have it, it was her birthday. The buffet lunch was delicious and traditional. Two members were chosen to elaborate on their «Career after a Career». Erna Fex expanded on her talent as an author and Heather Brown displayed her passion as an artist. There will be more testimony at future luncheons to expand on the theme : life after retirement.
