Pre-Covid Years a member(s) has organized a special Friendship Activity of a Christmas luncheon held at a different venue from that of RiverBend Golf Course. Any member of our Branch may attend this gathering and this year the event was once again offered at the downtown venue of The River Room in Museum London where the chef is known for his cuisine which suits a special Christmas celebration meal. There was quite an extensive selection of entrees offered to us for individual orders with prices to match. While we were waiting to be served, people were able to visit with people at their own or other tables and Madeline Carter had prepared a long quiz for each table group to pool their knowledge on Christmas facts and customs. When the answers were announced, and points scored for some prizes, many of us found that we needed to improve our general knowledge, but admittedly fun was had by all. The meals were excellent, and thanks were given to the chef, servers and organizers of this special Christmas event.
