Olya Schwadschenko passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 21, 2026 at Hospice Niagara at the age of 81. She is predeceased by her husband Bill, her parents, her sister and two brothers. Survived by her sister in law, Elizabeth Wade. She will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews Richard (Nancy) Wade, Debra (Reg) Wade and Steven Wade and Beatrice (Francois) Blin and their families. Thanks to the caring and compassionate staff at Walker Family Cancer Centre and Hospice Niagara. Many thanks to Alicia and Dawn and Olyas’s circle of friends and caregivers for their care and support. Olya loved making the world beautiful through her art and gardening. She loved entertaining and was a fabulous cook.
