The Niagara Falls branch is saddened by the loss of our long-time member Donna Parkhill, who passed away March 9, 2024. After her 33-year teaching career, Donna retired in 1998 and joined us in September of that year. We remember with gratitude Donna’s contributions to our branch. Donna served on the branch Executive as Secretary, President, and Past President. Donna was also the chair of the Hospitality Committee for RWTO/OERO Convention 2011 and served as Area Director of what was then Area 4. For her dedication to the values of RWTO/OERO, Donna was our Cora Bailey Award recipient for 2017-2018.
In her retirement, Donna also volunteered with the Canadian Diabetes Association and her church.
Donna was the cherished wife of Innis and the loving mother of James. She will be dearly missed by her sister Dale and her brother Daniel. Our Niagara Falls branch will miss her as well.
