On a beautiful, hot, sunny day we traveled to Stirling, ON for our June meeting.
During the general business meeting, Wendy Bryson gave a report on the 2023 Convention. Diane Fisher outlined the 2023-24 entertainment program. Lynda Rollins announced that a private Facebook group would be created for our members to follow. RWTO Belleville Branch. If you ask to join, Lynda will add you.
Lynda Sommer, Area 7 Director, installed the Executive Officers for the 2023-24 year. As you can see from the photos, we have a very large executive. Kay Snedden, the incoming president, thanked Elaner Pound for you extended stay as President during Covid.

After our business meeting a delicious lunch was served by the ladies of St. Paul’s United Church. Delicious salads, fresh buns, deviled eggs and cold sliced turkey and ham as perfect on such a hot day. Dessert was a selection of different homemade cakes. Delicious!
After lunch, we proceeded to Farmtown Park in Stirling for a tour of the buildings. A very educational tour on the history of farming in our region.
