Our ladies enjoyed a wonderful meal at The Galley, in Port Severn and a short meeting. After the lunch meeting we had a tour of the Trent Severn Lock 45. The lock master and his assistant gave us a brief history and overview of the lock system and the operation. We were lucky enough to have two boats go through the locks so we were able to see the locks and the swing bridge in action! Our next branch meeting will be September 10th.
