ANDERSON, M. Joanne (Valade)

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on January 9, 2024 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband’s Murray Rupert (1976) and Wally Anderson (2008). Loving mother of Terry (Liz) Rupert, Cindy (Ken) Schwab, Fred (Susan) Rupert, and Lisa (Ray) Fischer. Loving grandma of Murray, Brent (Pam), Eric, Jesse (Emily), Kory (Lindsay), Stacey (Tom), Jeff (Jessie), Douglas, Catherine (Ben), Kristy (Eric), Jackie (Stu), Bob (Michelle), Jake (Leigh) and great grandma to Cole, Lake, Alee, Landan, Dallas, Taelynn, Callie, Kaleb, Reese, Ryan, late Judy (1991), Avyn, Ayla, Lily, Millie and Bobby. Dear sister of Brian (late Shirley) Valade, Dan (late Carol) Valade, Jack Valade. Predeceased by her brothers William “Bill”, Keith and sisters Alice Poisson, Jill Hennin. Also remembered by Betty (John) Hlozan, Bill (Maureen) Anderson, Jenny Brunet, Lynn (Carl) Gyori, and John (Sherry) Anderson and their children and grandchildren. Predeceased by Donald. Also remembered by her dear Aunt Millie and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends and dear friend Jan. Joanne was a teacher at Malden Public School for 32 years and retired in 1988. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Friday January 12, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Visiting will continue at First Baptist Church 58 Division Rd. N. Kingsville on Saturday January 13, 2024 from 10:00am until a service to celebrate Joanne’s life at 11:00 am. Interment at Greenhill Cemetery Kingsville.
