SCARVES, GAMES AND LUNCHES

February 22,2023 | Sault Ste. Marie

Our General Meeting on Feb. 22nd, consisted of centres where members could go to learn a variety of interesting scarf tying techniques from Lorraine D.or play a wide variety of games organized by Brenda O. Loraine taught the fascinated group in front of her how to turn square, oblong and loop scarves into attractive accessories.

Those members who chose games could play “Cotton Nose”, “Left, Right, Centre”, “Shut the Box”, “Chocolate Vacuum”, “Minute to Win It”, “Balloon Toss”, word games and create with play dough.

Brenda O. won the door prize of a scarf which can be easily tied into a bolero.

We collected lunch items and monetary donations for the local Lunches for Learning Program launched by St. Vincent Place in 2020.

It was a relaxing afternoon of eclectic activities.
