UCEast had a delightful meeting yesterday at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Spencerville. The ladies prepared a most delicious meal for us, complete with all the trimmings, including a variety of jellied salads and carrot plum pudding for dessert. We were entertained by the Spencerville Community Choir, who encouraged us to participate in singing the familiar Christmas carols. Many of our ladies went home with some lovely gifts from the Gift Sharing table. Thanks to all who made this gathering a success. It certainly put me into the Christmas spirit, and I look forward to attending some other wonderful concerts, markets and craft shows that were announced by members. Wishing everyone a safe, happy and enlightening Christmas season
