Scarborough Branch News

Welcome to the Scarborough Branch of Retired Women Teachers of Ontario. Our retired women teachers are from the TDSB public and separate school systems—elementary, secondary as well as French – English and Secondary. We meet for luncheons every 3rd Tuesday of the month from September to May at The Estate Banquet Centre,430 Nugget Avenue (Markham Road and Nugget Avenue).

We enjoy speakers, music, a Fashion Show, Craft Sale, Plant Sale, celebrity guests and a delicious meal. Our Travel Team organizes theatre day trips as well as overseas trips and opportunities to explore Canada. Discovering former colleagues and catching up is the best part.

Yearly membership is only $40.00.

If you would like to receive a monthly dispatch or more information about our group of Retired Women Teachers, please contact Linda Jarvis at:      telephone 416-293-8689

Our first luncheon, for this year, will be September 18 at 11:30 am.  Looking forward to seeing you there.
