KW-RWTO is delighted to welcome you to our site and to invite retired women teachers from the Kitchener-Waterloo area to join us. The KW Branch holds four luncheons a year at the Sunshine Centre at Luther Village. Each luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m., with a Mix and Mingle as we circulate to visit with friends and former colleagues. A delicious buffet luncheon follows and a speaker or other form of entertainment completes our event. In addition to our four fun luncheons, we have six sensational interest groups: knitting, court whist, lunch bunch, movie club, drum circle and memoir writing.
Our motto of “Caring and Sharing” is evident in the variety of charities which we support as listed in our 2016-2017 Program Brochure. The annual membership fee for the KW-RWTO Branch is $40.00 and retired women teachers are eligible to join at any time. Additional information about joining us can be obtained by contacting Branch President Anne Cameron at 519-886-2930 or rwto.kw@gmail.com.

“Members Jeanette (floral top) and Ellen (salmon top) lead the membership in a line dance, our five minutes of exercise done at each luncheon. Past luncheons had us participating in tai chi, latin dances, belly dance and even Bollywood, all led by various members.”

Silent Auction Fun for all Fall 2017! We raised close to $350 for Food4Kids, a program that provides healthy weekend snacks to children in need.
